
Raising the Bar is a 3-dayconference that buildsstronger leaders within state associations, create regional relationships, while preparing juniors for the future. Materials covered in Raising the Bar targets high school age students and older. A tentative schedule for the conference is Friday -extensive campus tour; Saturday –workshops, ranch tours, and farm tours; Sunday –workshops and travel home. Social activities, games, and ice breakers will also be provided to rekindle old and create new friendships. Additionally, participants should fly into Greenville –SpartanburgInternational Airport (GSP). This airport serves the following airlines: Southwest Airlines, American AirlinesDelta, United Airlines, and others. Transportation is provided during the conference. An airportshuttle will be providedto and from the hotel. Participants should be at the hotel between 5:00 PM –7:00 PM on Thursday, March 30th. Participants can depart after 11:30 AM on Sunday, April 2nd. Each year the NJAA holds leadership conferences for its junior members. This conference offers team building, leadership and character development as well as fostering new and old friendships between members. The LEAD conference offers a jam-packed schedule of educational tours and learning opportunities about the industry they are growing in. At this conference, juniors get to see different parts of the country and experience agriculture in ways they may never have seen before. Additionally, participants should fly into Sacramento International Airport (SMF). This airport serves the following major airlines: Southwest, American Airlines, Delta, United and others. Transportation is provided during the conference. An airport shuttle will be provided to and from the hotel. Participants can begin arriving to the hotel by 1:00 PM on Thursday, August 3rd, check-in begins at 2:00 PM and ends at 3:00 PM. Departure flights should be booked for a departure after 1:00 PM on Sunday, August 6th. This is to accommodate travel time from the hotel to the airport.
