Do you have a farm or ranch you’re hoping to pass to the next generation? Are you someone who wants to continue your family's legacy? Grab your seat for the upcoming Succession Planning Lunch and Learn sessions and get your operation on track for transition. Paige Pratt, fellow Angus member and farm transition expert, will cover the starting steps of succession planning, building an effective business model and how to alleviate communication and expectation differences between generations.
Dr. Paige Pratt grew up on a family farm/ranch in the Flinthills of Kansas. Paige and her husband, Jason, own and operate Pratt Cattle Company, a purebred Angus operation located in Southwest Virginia. Paige is a professional speaker and farm transition facilitator. She enjoys assisting families in developing asset and leadership transition plans for farming and ranching operations.
Join us on July 6, July 13 and July 20 to jump start your succession plans. These sessions will be available to active members of the American Angus Association only, and participants will be expected to attend all three sessions. Worksheets will be provided ahead of each session so attendees can work alongside Paige or meet with family members after. These take-home tools will prep participants to take the next step in their succession plans.
