Junior Angus Winners Named at 2015 Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show

            Junior Angus exhibitors led 174 entries at the 2015 Southwestern Exposition and Livestock Show’s Junior Angus Heifer Show, Jan. 24 in Fort Worth, Texas. Mark Cowan, Detroit, Texas, evaluated the females before naming champions.

            Makinzi Colbert, Shallowater, Texas, led the grand champion female. EXAR Penny 8113 is a November 2013 daughter of EXAR Classen 1422B and first won senior calf champion.

            SKCC Maxine 803 1350 was named reserve grand champion female after first winning intermediate champion. Emory Geye, Rising Star, Texas, owns the June 2013 daughter of Plainview Lutton E102.
