Angus Champions Named at 2015 Oregon State Fair ROV Show
Angus exhibitors competed for top honors at the 2015 Oregon State Fair Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, August 30 in Salem, Ore. Chad Breeding, Miami, Texas, evaluated the 125 entries, which included 87 females, 29 bulls and 10 cow-calf pairs.
K Bar D In The Bank 28B claimed overall grand champion and junior champion bull honors. K Bar D, Redmond, Ore., owns the March 2014 son of Barstow Cash.
Gohr Black Butte 4043 won reserve grand champion bull. The May 2014 son of Silveiras Style 9303 first won intermediate champion. Brad and Dawn Gohr, Madras, Ore., own the winning bull.
Silveiras Erica Diana 4390 captured grand champion female honors for Brandon Pacheco, Paso Robles, Calif. The June 2014 daughter of SCC First-N-Goal GAF 114 first topped the intermediate division.
EXAR Envious Blackbird 4960 claimed reserve grand champion female and junior champion honors. Corrie Falleur, Gearhart, Ore., owns the January 2014 daughter of Dameron First Response EXAR.
K Bar D Wendy 1010 won grand champion cow-calf pair. K Bar D owns the April 2012 daughter of Vermilion Pony X Press. A March 2015 bull calf sired by K Bar D Joe Canada 18Y completes the winning duo.
Madison Cox, Eagle Point, Ore., showed the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. EXAR Princess 3421 is a March 2013 daughter of Dameron First Class. A February 2015 heifer calf sired by V A R Reserve 1111 is at side.
