Winners Selected at Indiana Junior Preview Show

Indiana junior Angus members led 120 entries at the 2014 Indiana Angus Association Junior Preview Show, June 8 in Lebanon, Ind. Matt Claeys, West Lafayette, Ind., evaluated five bulls, 21 bred-and-owned females, 82 owned females, one cow-calf pairs and 11 steers before choosing winners.

            Patton Grandmaster 323 was named grand champion bred-and-owned bull. Kade Patton, Frankfort, Ind., owns the January 2013 son of S A V First Class 0207. He first won junior champion.

            Karsyn Zenor, Williamsport, Ind., owns the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned bull. GZ High Streaks 321 is a February 2013 son of Gambles Safe Bet. He first won reserve junior champion.

            CCC Princess Marya 653 claimed supreme champion and grand champion owned female honors after first winning intermediate champion. Hunter Royer, Westpoint, Ind., owns the June 2013 daughter of PVF Insight 0129.

            Kade Patton, led the reserve grand champion owned female. Greiman Jensen Proven Queen9 is a January 2013 daughter of Dameron First Class. She first won early junior champion.

            TT Lady Traveler 384 claimed grand champion bred-and-owned female honors after first winning intermediate champion. Burke Tuggle, Attica, Ind., owns the March 2013 daughter of Dameron First Impression.

            Caleb Smith, Whitestown, Ind., led the reserve grand champion bred-and-owned female. MCM Cheyenne 309 is a January 2013 daughter of BC Eagle Eye 110-7. She first won junior champion.

            Rachel Sutherlin, Greencastle, Ind., exhibited the grand champion cow-calf pair. GHG Primrose 210 RS is a January 2012 daughter of S A V Pioneer 7301. Her calf is a January 2014 heifer calf sired by S A V Bismarck 5682.

            MCM Vibration 318 won grand champion steer for Samantha Smith, Lebanon, Ind. He is a March 2013 son of 74-51 Vibration 059.

            Ethan Buck, Lafayette, Ind., led the reserve grand champion steer. RL&L Blackie Style A60 is an April 2013 son of Silveiras Style 9303.
