Angus Bull Sales to Support 2016 NJAS
Breeders in Nebraska and South Dakota are donating proceeds from Òlot 16Ó Angus bulls.
The National Junior Angus Show (NJAS) is an annual highlight for hundreds of Angus youth and their families, and in 2016, the big event takes place July 3-9 in Grand Island, Neb. The Nebraska Junior Angus Association is partnering with the South Dakota Junior Angus Association to coordinate and raise funds for whatÕs sure to be another record-breaking show.
With Angus bull sales on the horizon, 15 seedstock breeders in Nebraska and South Dakota are donating proceeds from their Òlot 16Ó bull to support the 2016 NJAS.
ÒThe National Junior Angus Association and host states are grateful to the participating breeders who are donating proceeds toward the 2016 NJAS,Ó says Jaclyn Clark, American Angus Association director of events and education. ÒWe encourage cattlemen to keep this in mind as theyÕre attending sales and events during the upcoming sale season.Ó
The first chance
to purchase a Òlot 16Ó bull is during the Baldridge
Bros. Bull Sale Jan. 30 in North Platte, Neb. Proceeds from Baldridge Compass C063 (AAA
Registration No. 18229529) will go toward the 2016 NJAS and support a
positive experience for hundreds of Angus youth across the country.
Stay tuned to www.angus.org for more information on the 2016 NJAS as it becomes available. You can also visit www.angusjournal.com to browse sale books for upcoming Angus events this sale season.
