Champion Carcass Steer Winners

These junior Angus members won top honors in the Carcass Steer Contest at the 2018 National Junior Angus Show (NJAS), July 8-13 in Madison, Wis. Allissa Martin, Oregon, Ill., right, won grand champion carcass steer. Her steer had a hot-carcass weight of 826.8 lbs., and graded low Prime with a 2.5 yield grade. Alexis Vandeberghe, Cleveland, N.D., left, won reserve grand champion carcass steer. Her steer had a hot-carcass weight of 817.8 lbs., and graded low Prime with a 2.5 yield grade.
