Junior Angus Winners Named at 2017 North American

            Junior Angus exhibitors led 221 entries at the 2017 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Junior Angus Heifer Show, Nov. 12 in Louisville, Ky. Tyler Winegardner, Harrod, Ohio, evaluated the females before naming champions.

            Kathryn Coleman, Modesto, Calif., led the grand champion owned female. Seldom Rest Lucy 6013 is a February 2016 daughter of Silveiras S Sis GQ 2353 and first won early junior champion.

            Hoffman H/G Blackbird 620 claimed the reserve grand champion owned female. Maddy Udell, Sioux City, Iowa, owns the March 2016 daughter of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B who first won late junior champion.

            Austin Nowatzke, Michigan City, Ind., led the grand champion bred-and-owned female. BNWZ Hazel 6010 is a May 2016 daughter of C&C McKinley 3000 EXAR. She also won intermediate champion and reserve owned intermediate champion.
