Angus Champions Parade at 2021 Illinois State Fair

            Angus enthusiasts led 116 entries at the 2021 Illinois State Fair Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, August 16 in Springfield, Ill. John Davis, Bidwell, Ohio, evaluated the 96 females, 16 bulls and four cow-calf pairs before selecting champions.

M C Casino 0020 claimed grand champion bull honors after first winning junior champion. Zach McCall, Greenville, Va., owns the January 2020 son of KR Casino 6243.

            Kramers Know How 081 was named reserve grand champion bull. Marvin Kramer, Farina, Ill., owns the September 2020 son of Hoover Know How that first won senior calf champion.

            Paige Lemenager, Hudson, Ill., captured grand champion female honors with Dameron Northern Miss 9203. The October 2019 daughter of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B first won senior champion.

            Lauren Wolter, Aviston, Ill., led the reserve grand champion female. FCF Phyllis 061 is an October 2020 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303. She first won senior calf champion.

            Morgan Hutchins, Charleston, Ill., showed the grand champion cow-calf pair. Colburn Saras Dream 9727 is a January 2019 daughter of Dameron First Class. A February 2021 heifer calf sired by Conley South Point 8362 completes the winning pair.

            S&R Emma J836 won reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Emily Kiesewetter, Farmington, Ill., owns the April 2018 daughter of Chestnut Undisputed GLM. A March 2021 bull calf sired by Bear Mtn Justify is at side.
