Missouri Angus Futurity Set for February 22-24

Angus enthusiasts will want to mark their calendars for the 51^st Annual Missouri Angus Breeders’ Futurity Show & Sale and the Missouri Angus Association Annual Meeting and Banquet, February 22-24 in Columbia, Mo. All Futurity events will be at the University of Missouri Livestock Center.

All cattle should be in place by 10 a.m., Friday, February 22. That evening a social will be held at 8 p.m. at the Stoney Creek Inn, the host hotel.

Saturday, February 23 will be a full day with the Futurity Show beginning at 9:30 a.m. A junior showmanship contest will follow immediately after the sale cattle are shown. The annual meeting of the membership will begin at 3 p.m. in the Livestock Center. The evening activities move back to the Stoney Creek Inn. A social starts at 6 p.m., with the banquet and directory ad auction at 6:30 p.m. Tickets for the banquet are $20, and can be purchased at the Futurity Show. Young children, who need supervision, can purchase a separate ticket for just $5.

The sale featuring 87 females and 37 bulls will begin at 11 a.m. on Sunday, February 24.
