Screen Resolution Examples
Resolution: 800x600
First, the "optimum" screens as designed for AIMS. The screen shots were taken at 800xx600 resolution.
The screen shot below is the General tab, single view.

General tab, All view.

Pedigree tab (only the single view is available for Pedigrees).

Resolution: 640x480
Now look at the screens at the lower, 640x480 setting. AIMS can handle it, but it's not as nice to use.
Here's the General tab, single view. Notice that entire sections (Miscellaneous) are not displayed. And the Tabs are on two rows.

The General tab All view displays far fewer columns; but this is the only way to access the fields that couldn't be displayed on the Single view.

The Pedigree tab only has room to display tattoos instead of animal names, registration numbers and tattoos.

Resolution: 1024x768
At higher resolutions, 1024x768 in this case, there's a lot more room for information.
The General tab single view isn't much different for the animal information, but notice that a lot more rows are visible in the pen list. (Future version of AIMS will take advantage of the extra space around the general information too.)

The General All view really takes advantage of the wider screen for more columns of information. The same is true for any All view, such as on Weaning or Yearling.

The Pedigree tab doesn't change much, and again, future version will have more information.
