AIMS EID Capabilities
As of version 2.4 build 409, AIMS has added the ability to accept data from electronic identification (EID) tag readers as well as electronic scale heads. (Actually, this capability has always been in AIMS, but required special software, now it is all within AIMS' programming).
EID Whitepaper
This whole area of EID readers (and a lot of related equipment) is new to AIMS and new to most users. To help introduce the concept, the following white paper was written. PLEASE read it carefully; you don't need to understand every word, but serious EID users will read through it to at least get a basic understanding of the subject and have a reference point for new features.
