Brave the Weather to Support 6th Annual Angus Foundation Golf
Tournament Not even a
torrential rainstorm could stop 60 golfers from hitting the links to support
the Angus Foundation during the 2006 National Junior Angus Show (NJAS) in “With a new record of 64 generous sponsors, this year’s golf tournament was another successful fundraiser for the Angus Foundation,” said Foundation President Milford Jenkins. The rain may have shortened the day from an 18-hole tournament to just 9-holes, but it certainly didn’t damper the players’ spirits, who were happy to enjoy a Certified Angus Beef® steak lunch at the awards ceremony, compliments of Lombardi Brothers Meats of Denver, Colo. “It was
