Winners Chosen at Central Illinois Preview Show
Angus enthusiasts led 152 entries at the 2019 Central Illinois Angus Association Preview Show, June 2, in Bloomington, Ill. Kyle Conley, Sulphur, Okla., evaluated the nine bulls, 133 females, six steers and four cow-calf pairs.
Accent Advantage 1812 earned grand champion bull honors after first winning junior champion. Jonathan Taylor, Oakland, Ill., owns the March 2018 son of RB Absolute Advantage.
Holly Marsh, Union, Ill., owns the reserve grand champion bull. W G A Eazy-E 7G is a January 2019 son of TGM Compton 1738. He first won junior calf champion.
Dameron Northern Miss 8153 won grand champion female. Paige Lemenager, Hudson, Ill., owns the May 2018 daughter of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B. She first won intermediate champion.
Top Line Proven Queen 8210 was named reserve grand champion female after first winning senior calf champion. Danielle Alberts, Atlanta, Ill., owns the September 2018 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303.
Decker Inauguration won grand champion steer. Lindsey Decker, Philo, Ill., owns the April 2018 son of PVF Inauguration 6174.
Garrett Handsaker, Pearl City, Ill., exhibited the reserve grand champion steer. PVF Priority 8070 is a February 2018 son of C&C Priority 1428B EXAR.
Ella Brooks, Prophetstown, Ill., captured grand champion cow-calf pair honors. Dameron Barbara 765 is a March 2017 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303. A February 2019 heifer calf sired by Dameron Northern Frontier is at side.
Younge Greiman Lady 439 won reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Holly Marsh, Union, Ill., owns the April 2014 daughter of SCC First-N-Goal GAF 114. A January 2019 bull calf sired by TGM Compton 1738 completes the winning pair.
