Champions Parade at 2019 Atlantic National Super Point ROV Angus Show
Angus enthusiasts led 143 entries at the 2019 Atlantic National Super Point Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, May 26 in Timonium, Md. Zack Butler, Lebanon, Tenn., evaluated the 129 females, 12 bulls and two cow-calf pairs before naming champions.
Malsons First Reaction 115D claimed grand champion bull honors. Mark and Carla Malson, Parma, Idaho, and Mark Moxley, West Friendship, Md., own the March 2016 son of Silveiras First Reaction2510 that first won senior champion.
J D H Cattle Company, Dover, Pa., and Myron Kennedy, Brookeville, Md., own the reserve grand champion bull. MK Silver Star E94 is the September 2017 son of North Camp Silver Star 5103 and first won senior calf champion.
SCC SCH Phyllis 714 claimed supreme champion overall and grand champion female honors. Clark Gordon, Gretna, Va., owns the January 2017 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303 that first won junior champion.
FCF Phyllis 770 was named reserve grand champion female and senior calf champion. Tucker Bayer, Ringle, Wis., owns the October 2017 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303.
Endless Mountains Angus Farm, Auburn Center, Pa., owns the grand champion natural cow-calf pair. Cherry Knoll Ark Pride 1593 is the October 2015 daughter of Plum Creek Paradox 161B. An October 2018 heifer calf sired by PVF Insight 0129 completes the winning pair.
AED Rita 328A claimed grand champion embryo transplant (ET) cow- calf pair. Allison Davis, Shelbyville, Tenn., owns the December 2013 daughter of Connealy Final Product. An October 2018 heifer calf sired by Silveiras Style 9303 is at side.
