Angus Champions Parade at 2018 World Beef Expo ROV Show
Angus enthusiasts led 101 entries at the 2018 World Beef Expo Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, September 28 in Milwaukee, Wis. Ashley Judge, Loveland, Colo., evaluated the 84 females, 15 bulls and two cow-calf pairs before selecting champions.
WAF Collusion 703 claimed grand champion bull for Weaver Angus Farm, Edwards, Ill. He is an April 2017 son of Vision Unanimous 1418 and first won junior champion.
Top Line Encore 7137 won reserve grand champion bull. Top Line Farm, Tremont, Ill., owns the September 2017 son of Dameron First Class. He earlier won senior calf champion.
Tucker Bayer, Ringle Wis., led the grand champion female. FCF Phyllis 770 is an October 2017 daughter of Silveiras Style 9303 and first won senior calf champion.
Colton Foose, Elmwood, Ill., showed the reserve grand champion female. R&R Rosie 734 is a May 2017 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153. She first won intermediate champion.
Lauryn Mool, Lexington, Ill., owns the grand champion cow-calf pair. TopLIne FCF Proven Queen 161 is a February 2016 daughter of Dameron First Class. A January 2018 heifer calf sired by Hurlbut OSU Final Exam 513 is at side.
Hillard Frontier Gal 606 won reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Olivia Gerloff, Bland, Mo., owns the March 2016 daughter of Dameron First Impression. An April 2018 heifer calf sired by PVF Insight 0129 completes the winning pair.
