Junior Angus Winners Named at 2018 North American

            Junior Angus exhibitors led 218 entries at the 2018 North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE) Junior Angus Heifer Show, Nov. 11 in Louisville, Ky. Mike McGuire, Waverly, Ala., evaluated the females before naming champions.

            Chesney Steenhoek, Prairie City, Iowa, led the grand champion owned female. UDE Ellie 153E is a March 2017 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153 and first won late junior champion.

            Kruse Missie Primo 147 claimed the reserve grand champion owned female. Jake Nikkel, Mc Pherson, Kan., owns the February 2017 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153 who first won early junior champion.

            Jacob Marksbury, Buffalo, Ky., led the grand champion bred-and-owned female. Voyager JF Georgina 867 is a September 2017 daughter of Colburn Primo 5153. She also claimed senior calf champion.
