Angus Champions Named at 2018 Mississippi State Fair Junior Show

 

Mississippi junior Angus members led 108 entries at the 2018 Mississippi State Fair Junior Angus Show, October 8 in Jackson, Miss. John Rayfield, Lubbock, Texas, evaluated the entries before naming winners.

Emma Malley, Pass Christian, Miss., showed the grand champion owned bull. Latherow Hot Streak is a March 2017 son of BSF Hot Lotto 1401.

Patricks D&B Miracle K51 was named reserve grand champion owned bull and is owned by Whitney Watts, Wesson, Miss. The April 2018 bull is the son of Silveiras Watchout 0514. He also claimed champion Mississippi bred.

J&J Princess 87 was named grand champion owned female. Dalton Cooper, Potts Camp, Miss., owns the March 2017 daughter of Dameron Best In Class.

Patricks Ms Advance K41 claimed reserve grand champion owned female honors. Whitney Watts, Wesson, Miss., owns October 2016 daughter of EXAR First Advance K41. He also won champion Mississippi bred.

            Ryan Purvis, Morton, Miss., led the reserve champion Mississippi bred bull. Nester’s Tough Tank Vesta is the February 2017 son of J A R Bismark of 025 354.

            4M MS All Eyes On Me 84A won reserve champion Mississippi bred female. Rylie Melancon, Woodville, Miss., owns the December 2017 daughter of S/F Pure Product 491.
