Juniors Show Angus Champions at LSU Show

 

            Champions were named at the 2017 Louisiana State University (LSU) AgCenter Livestock Show’s Junior Angus Show, February 17 in Gonzales, La. Quintin Smith, Lebanon, Tenn., evaluated the 81 females and 29 bulls before selecting the winners.

            Comite Hills Blue Chip 1513 won grand champion bull and champion Louisiana bred bull. Wyatt Olsen, Saint Francisville, La., showed the March 2015 son of EXAR Blue Chip 1877B.

            Christian Corsentino, Denham Springs, La., showed the reserve grand champion bull and reserve Louisiana bred bull. Comite Hills Intuitive 1601 is a January 2016 son of PVF Insight 0129.

            Emily Rodriguez, Keithville La., led the grand champion female. R&R Skymere 6066 5044 is a January 2015 daughter of PVF Insight 0129. She also claimed champion Louisiana bred female

            R&R Lady 0171 5064 was named reserve grand champion female and reserve champion Louisiana bred female for Leslie Rodriguez, Keithville, La. She’s a January 2015 daughter of PVF Insight 0129.
