Champions Named at the 2016 NILE Roll of Victory Angus Show
Angus enthusiasts led 103 entries at the 2016 Northern International Livestock Exposition (NILE) Roll of Victory (ROV) Angus Show, October 22 in Billings, Mont. Clint Sexson, Pendleton, Ore., evaluated the 83 females, 18 bulls and two cow-calf pairs.
Deppe American Way 563 claimed grand champion and junior champion bull honors. Circle Z Angus, Oelwein, Iowa, owns the March 2015 son of Dameron C-5 American Classic.
Barragree Cattle Co., Absarokee, Mont., owns the reserve grand champion bull. BCC American Classic 104C is a March 2015 son of Dameron C-5 American Classic and first won reserve junior champion.
Lazy JB Queen Latifah 525 captured grand champion female honors for Hailie Conley, Plainfield, Ontario, Can. The February 2015 daughter of Dameron C-5 American Classic first won junior champion.
Mackenzie Malson, Parma, Idaho, owns the reserve grand champion female. Malsons Jilt 255C, a September 2015 daughter of Bushs Sure Deal 33, first won senior calf champion.
Greens Cami 4541 claimed grand champion cow-calf pair for Ryan Green, Hardin, Mont. The cow is a February 2014 daughter of HF Rebel 53Y. A January 2016 bull calf sired by EXAR Blue Chip 1877B is at side.
Tara Tellefson, Warden, Wash., owns the reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Beus Bailee 301B is a January 2014 daughter of Hoover Dam. An April 2016 bull calf sired by TC Brilliant Blue B15 completes the winning pair.
