Juniors Show Angus Champions at LSU Show

            Champions were named at the 2016 Louisiana State University (LSU) Stock Show’s Junior Angus Show, February 18 in Gonzales, La. Dale Pitchford, Porum, Okla., evaluated the 75 females and 35 bulls before selecting the winners.

            PVF Insight 4002 won grand champion bull. Payton Shepherd, Lake Charles, La., showed the January 2014 son of PVF Insight 0129.

            Lily Gisclair, Longville, La., showed the reserve grand champion bull and champion Louisiana bred bull. LGC Style 148 is a September 2014 son of Silveiras Style 9303.

            S C F Upshot 8717 1501 won reserve champion Louisiana bred bull. Maci Schexnayder, Donaldsonville, La., showed the January 2015 son of EXAR Upshot 0562B.

            Emily Rodriguez, Keithville, La., led the grand champion female and champion Louisiana bred female. R&R Skymere 6066 5004 is a January 2015 daughter of PVF Insight 0129.

            R&R Lass 8034 4069 was named reserve grand champion female and reserve champion Louisiana bred female for Clayton Simmons, Bossier City, La. She’s a March 2014 daughter of Dameron First Impression.
