Winners Chosen at Central Illinois Preview Show

Angus enthusiasts led 182 entries at the 2016 Central Illinois Angus Association Preview Show, June 3, in Bloomington, Ill. Blake Bloomberg, Stillwater, Okla., evaluated the 14 bulls, 146 females, 15 steers and seven cow-calf pairs.

Lemenager Role Model C90 earned grand champion bull honors after first winning senior calf champion. Paige Lemenager, Hudson, Ill., owns the October 2015 son of EXAR First Class 1421B.

Eric Ewing and Matthew Ewing, both of Rushville, Ill., own the reserve grand champion bull. Top Line In Time 5019 is a January 2015 son of PVF Insight 0129. He first won junior champion.

PVF Proven Queen 5186 won grand champion female. Amelia Miller, Gridley, Ill., owns the April 2015 daughter of PVF Radiance 0126. She first won late junior champion.

Dameron Princess 5218 was named reserve grand champion female after first winning senior calf champion. Jack Dameron, Towanda, Ill., owns the October 2015 daughter of Dameron First Class.

PVF Insight 5066 won grand champion steer. Adam Miller, Gridley, Ill., owns the February 2015 son of PVF Insight 0129.

Codee Schlipf, El Paso, Ill., exhibited the reserve grand champion steer. T L F Hobart 15 is a March 2015 son of Tree Lane Hobart 56.

Oliva Wilson, Ogden, Ill., captured grand champion cow-calf pair honors. WCC Forever Lady B4 is a January 2014 daughter of S A V Brilliance 8077. A March 2016 bull calf sired by Connealy Final Product is at side.

            PVF Proven Queen 2162 won reserve grand champion cow-calf pair. Troy Rawlings, New Holland, Ill., owns the September 2012 daughter of PVF Insight 0129. A December 2015 heifer calf sired by PVF Spinoff 3001 completes the winning pair.
