Champions Selected at the All-American Angus Breeders’ Futurity ROV Show
Angus breeders led 124 entries at the 2015 All-American Angus Breeders’ Futurity Roll of Victory (ROV) Show, June 14 in Louisville, Ky. Scott Bush, Britton, S.D., evaluated 92 females, 26 bulls, and six cow-calf pairs before choosing the winners.
Champion Hill Georgina 8577 was named supreme champion and grand champion female. Caroline Cowles, Rockfield, Ky., owns the January 2014 daughter of S A V Bismarck 5682. She first won junior champion.
Tanner Howey, Rockwall, Texas, led the reserve grand champion female after winning reserve junior champion. DAJS Martha 134 is a January 2014 daughter of DAJS All In 828.
Destiny Sound 38 earned grand champion bull honors. Morgan Hutchins, Columbia, Tenn., owns the February 2013 son of Whitestone Rogue Y242. He first won senior champion.
DAJS All About It 034 was selected as the reserve grand champion bull. Katy Satree, Montague, Texas, owns the July 2014 son of DAJS All Star M243. He first won intermediate champion.
Reese Johnson, Slaughters, Ky., owns the grand champion natural cow-calf pair. Champion Hill Blackbird 8369 is a February 2013 daughter of S A V First Class 0207. A February 2015 heifer calf sired by S A V Bismarck 5682 completed the pair. She also claimed reserve grand champion udder.
Jonathan McGinnis, Shelbyville, Ky., led the reserve grand champion natural cow-calf pair. ARF Lady 4035 is a March 2013 daughter of Gambles Hot Rod. Her calf is a February 2015 bull sired by PVF Insight 0129.
