Angus Juniors and Quality Cattle Take on Des Moines

Media Kit for the 2017 National Junior Angus Show now available online for download.

The National Junior Angus Show (NJAS) is the highlight of the summer for hundreds of National Junior Angus Association (NJAA) members and their families. The anticipation is mounting for this year’s show scheduled for July 9 through July 15 at the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines, Iowa. The 2017 NJAS Media Kit can now be accessed online to help media professionals know when and where events and contests will take place, and to provide background information on the event and its history.

The NJAS is a six-day event that encompasses the largest junior cattle show in the nation, as well as educational competitions, career development events and much more. All members of the media are invited to attend and are encouraged to contact the American Angus Association communications team for more information.

The media kit contains a full schedule, event location address, potential stories, news releases and contact information for the show. The NJAS is a premier event for hundreds of Angus youth and their families, and this year, nearly 900 youth members are traveling across the country for the show.

To find news and information for the 2017 NJAS, including contest results, awards, scholarships and show photos, visit www.njas.info. Show coverage will also be available on the NJAA Facebook page. Backdrop and candid photos will be available for purchase online at photo.angus.org.

Also plan to tune in to a special NJAS episode on The Angus Report at 7:30 a.m. CDT Monday, July 24, on RFD-TV.
